I am qualified to provide clinical supervision to psychologists (including trainee psychologists) and also counsellors.
In my role as a supervisor, my primary focus is on the supervisee. I strive to support your growth both as a practitioner and as an individual. Central to my approach is enhancing your self-awareness,especially regarding your values, ethics, and the motivations behind your decisions in therapy. This includes exploring how both personal values and therapeutic theories influence the choices you make in therapy.
I have a deep passion for values, ethics, and the politics of therapy, and I bring a solid foundation of clinical therapeutic experience using a relational psychodynamic framework. I aim to use this knowledge to respond to your specific needs and offer insights drawn from my own experiences in supervision. I aim to offer a space where you can share your experiences freely, without fear of judgment, and develop your self-understanding through the process.
For me, an authentic supervisory relationship is essential for effective supervision. I believe it is through this relationship that you can safely reflect, learn, and grow. My approach is rooted in the idea that therapy and supervision are fundamentally relational processes. My priority is to encounter you authentically, engaging in a collaborative reflection of your clinical work.
